"Tiger"
I've been Adopted!!
23 month old neutered male, natural ears, docked tail, brindle with a white chest and a little on his nose. He is very loving, has a great temperament and is good with everything and everybody.
UPDATE 9/30 - New pictures! (click on photo for full size pic)
UPDATE 8/30 - Tiger's birthdate is 7-1-97
UPDATE 8/17 - Tiger is now getting eyedrops not injections. He gets the eyedrops three times per day @ $3.00 per day. He has gained weight and is looking fantastic!! We will have pictures of him shortly.
Diagnosis is Diabetes Insipidus. Here is another site on Diabetes Insipidus and here is info specifically on dogs with Diabetes Insipidus. Please note that this is NOT the same as Diabetes Mellitus despite the similarity in the names. His condition does not jeopardize his longevity.
UPDATE 6/22 - More information on Tiger: Tiger stands at 25 1/2 inches and should weigh about 60 lbs. He lost weight being at the vets for so long. The cost of his medication is $5 per day. We suspect he would NOT be good with cats. He is feeling better since he has been on his medication and we now suspect that he would NOT be good with cats. He has become overly interested in a resident chinchilla and rabbit.
