"Wendy"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 3/17/00 - Wendy is truly a treasure. She is extremely lovable. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She does very well in her crate, but does prefer to sleep in a doggie bed. She is doing very good with housebreaking. She has even gone to the door on her own. She understands and obeys the word "No" very well for being so young. She loves to run around the yard and jump in the leaves. She enjoys walking but will need leash training. She does not do well with small older dogs, she has too much puppy enthusiasm for them.  She is however, extremely wonderful with children. Her whole face and body lights up around children. She plays very nicely with them and follows them all over. 

• Wendy is an approximately 10 week old female Boxer mix puppy that came out of a crowded shelter in New Jersey. She is brindle in color, has a natural tail, and has the Boxer underbite. We will be getting to know her better, and will be posting more about her, when she settles into her new foster home.
