Willie"
This
dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial
period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog
and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available
Dogs page.

- 4/19/01 - Willie is a
strikingly handsome 15 month old male dark brindle boxer being surrendered
to rescue by his owners. This was his fourth home and by far his
best. Although they love Willie very much, he is not getting along
with the two cats in the house and they fear there will be a tragic ending
if he were to remain.
Willie has lived with dogs of all sizes and sexes and gets along wonderfully
with them. He LOVES people and is great with the children he lives
with (ages 5 & 8). He is super high energy and likes to jump up
for hugs and kisses.
Willie is crate trained and housebroke. He likes to go for walks and
car rides but like most young boxers needs to be reminded not to pull on the
leash. He is a tall boxer that currently weighs 65 pounds and will
probably mature to 80 pounds or more.
Willie is scheduled to be neutered next week and will be ready for his
forever home after that. We are looking for a home committed to being
